SOUTHBRAE NURSERIES NEWS
Sad news:
We were all upset by the sudden death of our tutor, John Badger. It was John’s work that made Southbrae Nurseries what it is today and he will be sadly missed. We are designing and building a reflective garden for former service users and their carers. Plants in memory of John will be planted in the new garden too.
NC Business students from Anniesland College have been raising funds towards the reflective garden - so far, £40 has been raised by this group of students who have produced crafts for the cause.

New Vegetable Garden:
This year we will be growing outdoor vegetables in raised beds. When you visit Southbrae you can pick up a leaflet with all our tips for growing fruit and vegetables.
New Team Members:
We welcome two new faces this year. Tutor Julie Kilpatrick has come in to carry on the good work done by John Badger and Allan joins the team in his first year at Southbrae. Allan says. ‘I am enjoying the course and it’s really great to be part of the team’.
